Our Villas in the South of France
Welcome to Domaine L'Oiseau Bleu, a collection of three beautiful places to stay in
Sainte-Maxime, on the French Riviera.
Created by us, Barbara & Caspar together with our children Eden & Roque.
Domaine L'Oiseau Bleu is more than a place to sleep. It is our personal interpretation of life in the
South of France, a place where the Mediterranean, relaxed living, thoughtful design and genuine
hospitality come together.
Stay in one of our unique homes, wake up close to the sea and take your time. We can prepare a dinner for you with chef Caspar, or take you out on our boat to discover the Côte d'Azur from the water.
Everything is designed to make your stay feel easy, personal and a little bit like home.

Maison Bleu
Is a private Mediterranean home for up to six guests, hidden in a lush tropical garden with its own swimming pool. Just 800 metres from the beach La Nartelle and a short drive from Sainte-Maxime, it is made for slow mornings, long lunches and relaxed evenings under the stars.

Maison Mersea
Is a Beachfront living , Cote d'Azur style home. Set almost directly on the sandy beach of La Nartelle, Maison MerSea is beautifully decorated and for up to 4 guests. Enjoy a spacious 100m2 private terrace, just steps from the Mediterranean.

Maison Fruitier
Is a private house up to four guests, just 15 meters from the beach La Garonnette and a short walk to the centre and harbour of Les Issambres.

An unforgettable dinner, prepared just for you. Let chef Caspar Burgi create a private dining experience in the comfort of your own home, at one of our homes or at a location of your choice.
Choose from 3,4 or 5- courrse menu, carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and Caspar's personal touch.
From the first preparation to the final course, everything is taken care of. You simply sit back, enjoy the food, the wine and the company - and let Caspar and Barbara take care of the rest.

We know that travelling with children can require a little extra planning - and that holidays are at their best when the whole family can simply relax and enjoy being together.
That is why all our houses are family-friendly, with everything you may need for a comfortable stay.
On request, we can provide a baby cot and high chair.
So bring your little ones, leave the extra luggage at home, and enjoy your time together on the Cote d'Azur.

A Day at Sea
Discover the Côte d'Azur from a different perspective.
Join us aboard Pastenague, our private boat for up to five guests, and spend a day exploring the beautiful coastline of the French Riviera.
Cruise along the coast towards Port Grimaud, Saint-Tropez and Pampelonne, stop for a swim in a hidden cove or simply soak up the Mediterranean sun.
We can prepare a delicious picnic for you to enjoy on board., or drop you at one of the beach restaurants along the coast for a lunch

We are Barbara & Caspar, together with our children Eden and Roque.
Our story began with a love for the Côte d’Azur — its light, the sea, the markets, long lunches and the relaxed Mediterranean way of life.
In 2017, we decided to make the South our home and started creating places where we could share that feeling with others.
Today, we have three unique homes in and around Sainte-Maxime, each with its own character but all reflecting the things we love: beautiful design, vintage finds, natural materials and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.
We never wanted them to feel like hotels. We wanted them to feel like beautiful homes you are lucky enough to borrow for a while.
Hospitality, our way
For us, it’s all about the little things — a fridge filled before you arrive, fresh eggs from our chickens, a dinner prepared by Caspar, a favourite beach recommendation or a day out on our boat.
We love sharing the places, flavours and experiences that make us happy to call the Côte d’Azur home.
A beautiful house. A long lunch. A swim in the sea. A boat ride at sunset.
